How Silver Sunbird was born.

Hey! I'm Nikki and welcome to Silver Sunbird.
At 20 years old my world was turned upside-down when I was struck down suddenly and diagnosed with tumefactive multiple sclerosis, a rare form of MS.
After a severe attack that left me on life-support and completely paralysed on  the right hand side of my body, specialists believed I'd require lifelong round-the-clock care – but I had other ideas.
Having to learn again how to walk, talk, and even use a fork properly, I've defied the odds by building a life like any other, with the launch of Silver Sunbird becoming a massive feather in my wings of independence.
I'm defying my limitations daily to bring you unique and inspirational jewellery. I hope to prove that every cloud really does have a silver lining, and inspire you to have the confidence and hope so you can reach your dreams.

What are the materials used to create your jewellery?

All of our pieces are made with either 925 sterling silver or 304 stainless steel, which means they're not only beautiful and durable, but also comfortable to wear.

This is especially important for sensitive skin— you shouldn't have to choose between style and comfort.
What are your delivery charges and how soon do you despatch orders?

Is your packagingeco-concious?

All our packaging is plastic-free and recyclable!

We use washi tape instead of cellophane (plastic) tape, and our boxes and tissue paper are totally recyclable!

Just pop them into your weekly recycling!
What happens if I change my mind about my order?

If we haven't yet packaged and dispatched your order then we can give you a refund.

If we have you'll need to send it back to us still in its original packaging unused.

What is sterling silver?

As a precious metal, pure silver alone is far too soft to wear as jewellery.

To make it more durable, it's mixed with other alloy metals to give it strength.
