Jewellery Care

Jewellery and water really don't mix well. Avoid leaving them in moist bathrooms,  wearing them while swimming or in the shower, or in any pool of water. It may make them tarnish and look dull.

Display your jewellery on earring holders, necklace stands, bracelet  displays etc to avoid messy tangles that can harm the jewellery. Also you could store your items in air tight containers out of  sunlight to maximise the preservation.

When traveling or carrying your jewellery around try to use a jewellery roll as it's soft so it protects your items from getting damaged.

Your jewellery doesn't like the acid from hairsprays and alcohol of perfumes so put your jewels on after you have used your products.

Many components used in jewellery can be affected by the sun, such as wooden beads, bone bead etc, so keep them out of direct sunlight when not wearing.

Try to avoid letting your jewellery coming into contact with soap, face creams, or moisturizers. If they do, rinse clean and pat dry. Make sure they’re fully dry before putting them away.

Clean your jewellery gently with cotton buds or a soft toothbrush with a little distilled water. Make sure it is properly dried so to look after the metal settings. Wipe them off after wearing too.
